Menuspring was another great project we had the opportunity to work on. We worked on multiple platforms for the Menuspring project. VeriQual developed web, iOS and Android Apps for Menuspring. Let's learn some more details about this project.
Technologies
For the Menuspring project our developers used a mix of different web technologies. Primarily we used PHP, CodeIgnitor, My SQL, SVN, HTML and CSS.
Mobile: For the mobile Apps we worked on both the iOS and the Android platform.
Process
For the Menuspring project we had a full time dedicated team that consisted of a PHP developer, a iOS and Android developer and a Quality assurance resource. Throughout this project we used an agile development process.
Requirements and Solutions
Menuspring's founder, Ali Meruani, envisaged a web and mobile App which allowed users to discover and rate restaurants around London. Users would also have the option to rate individual menu items based on their taste and quality.
VeriQual was given the task of developing mobile and web Apps for Menuspring. We were asked to deliver the website based on the PHP platform. While the mobile Apps for both iOS and Android would need to consume web services from the web App. This web App would also be used by restaurant owners to update restaurant information including menu items.
For a period of two years VeriQual developed, enhanced and supported the project. Menuspring has so far managed to raise funding of $95000 based on the success of the product.
